Tears of Violet Bulbs

My eyes were wet.
I was thinking deep,
Whatever I was doing,
I was not willing to do.

My lips were tight shut.
My eyes were really wet.
I knew what I was doing,
There was no other option.

I tried to wipe my eyes,
I tried to stop my emotions,
I tried my best, to all extent,
I hate tears coming out.

But tears came out –
It flown on my cheeks,
Some even touched lips.
None could help me.

Its neither love nor hate,
It’s just a pain of mine,
I was slicing Onions nine.
I was chopping them fine.

  1. What to say? Khoda pahad nikali chuhiya. 🙂 I was thinking all the time what caused this? And in the end? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Next time cut the onion in two haves. Dip all the halves in water for 5 minutes and you won’t write a poem like this. 🙂

  3. LOL, Juneli ki pole khul gayee.

Now I know how she praises all my poems 🙁

Anyway, this is not done Prem, you took me to a height thru ur poem and then suddenly dropped in the last lines 🙂 Like sunflower, now I read the title. LOL

Though a funny one, but i wish you write one more with the same wordings but with serious ending. Just a wish 🙂

  4. @ SF – Nope dear I read the whole poem. That’s also two time….

But I was seeing the poem beyond the onion, the depth of the poem…..

You know what our heart is just like an onion. Each time you peal off a new layer comes out. So I took the onion here just like a metaphor….

Of course the poem ended with a humour at last but I could not laugh on it as before those two lines there I found a lot of pain…………..

Hope you understood. What I mean 🙂

@ Praney, soo you are taking it and for all my comments in that way :(.

Aap bhi mazak uda rahe ho. Koi baat nahin. Koi baat nahi.

SF, Say it a culinary delicacy of some master chef 🙂 😆
    Thank you.

    Praney,
Juneli ki khichai 🙂 Ha ha.. Once in a blue moon.

Jokes apart , I would rather say that, she is too good at reading blogs beyond words. In fact, I did not expect this comment of hers.

Sure I will write something like this- I need these homeworks in fact 🙂

And the fact is, when there are not many vegetables for cooking and friends are at home. At situation just adding few spices, we can make tasty food with ‘whatever’ vegetables, we have in fridge. Isn’t it !

And onions are needed for that 😉 .

    Aindrila,
Welcome ! Thanks for finding it cool. Why are you thinking to write on humorous posts. We all bloggers are wide variety of social animals – enough humorous in ourselves :p

    Praney,
Shaadiwali ! I am bachelor bhai.

All creative cooking are my fav as they don’t need chulha-chakki 🙂 but imagining some shaadiwali ( of course ‘after’ ) along with – who must be waiting for me, makes the cooking easier.

And bawarchi kala – I guess, I will retire from that after marriage :). Contextually on bawarchi kala – few posts are in queue. 😛
